Kendal Uniteds Reserve Team are currently 10th in James Cropper Westmorland League Division Two, however the league position is slightly false in that they are just five points off the second automatic promotion spot after only playing just 8 league games.
United have been in good form where they won at Keswicks Reserves before they defeated Burneside 2-1 at Castle Drive. In the win over Burneside, Lauchlan Savage opened the scoring, before Burneside equalised in the second half. However Cameron Horner secured the win after he came off the bench to score what proved to be the decisive goal.
The Reserves now travel to Junior Cup holders Greystoke on Saturday before they return in the new year to play Staveley United at The Ayland Recreation Ground. Kendal Uniteds next home game isn’t until Saturday 8th January where they play Windermere Reserves in the cup.
